MÉRIDA

Como destino fundacional para nuestro proyecto Roma en Hispania  y motivo inspirador de su espacio virtual hemos escogido la ciudad pacense de Mérida. 

Su abundante y bien conservado patrimonio arqueológico, la comodidad de su reducido núcleo urbano y , por supuesto, el innegable interés que el solo nombre de la antigua Colonia I(ulia)? Augusta Emerita es capaz de despertar en cualquier alumno mínimamente curioso han facilitado enormemente la elección.

El recorrido que presentamos es lo suficientemente generoso como para permitir a un grupo de estudiantes de ESO y/o Bachillerato no solo obtener una imagen cabal de la riqueza patrimonial de la ciudad en una sola jornada, sino también disfrutar de suficiente tiempo libre para recorrer las calles, plazas y rincones de su casco histórico. 

Nuestra propuesta de ruta recoge, por supuesto, toda la información fundamental y actualizada sobre monumentos y visitas imprescindibles. Pero también y sobre todo, pretende facilitar al profesorado la organización de su futura excursión a la ciudad aportando datos menos habituales pero de gran interés práctico cuando se viaja con grupos escolares. 

MERIDA

As the first destiny of our project Rome in Hispania and main inspiration for our website we have chosen Merida, capital of Badajoz.

Its abundant and well preserved archeological patrimony, the convenience of its small urban core and, of course, the undoubtably interest that the name of the ancient Colonia I(ulia)? Emerita Augusta is able to awake in any curious student have made this decision way easier.

The route we present is generous enough to allow a group of ESO and Bachillerato students, not only to grasp the depth of the patrimonial richness of the city in just one day, but also to enjoy discovering its streets, squares and corners.

It also has all the basic and actualized information regarding every monument and site you can’t miss. Apart from that, it means to help other teachers with the organization of school trips by talking of less common details that are actually of great relevance when traveling with school groups.
